Your Donation Matters
Funds raised by the Friends of the Amy Van Andel Library are used to support enhancement of library programs, services and facilities that are not within the capacity of the Kent District Library’s annual budget and have a direct positive impact to library patrons of all ages.

Affordable gently used books are always available at the Lucky Find Bookshop and at community events throughout the year (books sales, Ada Farmers Markets, Women's Night and more.)
Witnessing the pure joy of a first-time teacher filling bags of books to build her classroom library is just one example of how the Friends are making a difference in our Ada community.
On May 11, 2022, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) determined that we are a public charity that is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), and that donations to us are charitable contributions that may be deductible from income subject to federal income taxes under IRC Section 170, as of February 8, 2021.
